Reducing Teachers' Workload

Qridi's portfolio solution revolutionizes the way teachers manage student learning evidence and assessments. By providing tools for assessment and reflection, it simplifies the tracking of students' progress, allowing teachers to focus more on facilitating learning and less on administrative tasks.

Formative assessment, collaborative planning, and differentiation are seamlessly integrated into the platform, empowering teachers to tailor their teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of their students.

At European School Brussels 2 Qridi has been piloted for awhile already with a limited number of classes. This year Qridi is rolled out fully for the two campuses of the school, Woluwe and Evere. Learning portfolios have been collected in paper format at the school in the past. The goal with Qridi is to make teachers' life easier. By eliminating the need for printing and copying, and facilitating a simpler method for student reflection, teacher feedback, and demonstrating learning more comprehensively through audio, video, images, and files, not only do tasks become more convenient, but also new avenues for showcasing learning are opened up.

In the first phase, the main feature in focus is Qridi's Journals. Later on, Task lists and the Assessment train will become a part of the portfolio.

Curriculum Brought to Life

At European School Brussels 2, the curriculum is not just a set of guidelines; it's a living, breathing entity brought to life through Qridi. Aligned with the learning outcomes of the curriculum, the platform effectively implements the curriculum while providing insights into its impact on student learning.

With features such as harmonized planning, visualization of key competences, and progress monitoring, teachers can ensure that every student is on the path to success.

Qridi's classes can be shared within the school, which allows for collaborative planning. Furthermore, each objective of the curriculum becomes a section of the portfolio into which students can upload evidence of what they did and learned, as well as self-assess and recive feedback from the teacher. Tagging functionality allows for the student and teacher assessments to also portray growth in the European Schools' Key competences for lifelong learning.

Empowering Pupils

One of the most powerful aspects of Qridi's solution is its student interface, designed to empower students to take ownership of their learning journey. With a simple-to-use interface tailored to their needs, students can track their progress, practice self-regulation, and engage in meaningful reflection.

Even the youngest learners can participate, as the platform supports evidence and reflection through various mediums, including audio, video, and images. With branding options that reflect the school's identity and the ability to export and print portfolios, students are empowered to showcase their achievements with pride.

Data for Informed Decision-Making

The true power of Qridi's solution lies in its ability to transform learning data into actionable insights for all stakeholders. From spider diagrams that visualize academic progress to tracking the European Schools' key competences, the platform provides comprehensive data that can be accessed by teachers, students, parents, and school administrators.

With improved home-school communication and data-driven leadership, European School Brussels 2 is paving the way for a new era of education, where technology is not just a tool, but a catalyst for positive change.

Testimonial by Vanessa Dubois, a Nursery Teacher at the European School Brussels 4

"I have used Qridi in kindergarten for a few years now, and the impact it has had on my students' learning journeys is truly remarkable. The journal feature has been especially invaluable, as it allows my pupils to revisit their achievements and reflect on their progress. Being able to comment on their own work not only fosters a sense of ownership but also helps develop crucial reflective skills from a young age.

Moreover, the assessment train feature has been a game-changer in making my students' learning paths visible to them. In the past, it was often challenging to illustrate the progression of learning in a tangible way, especially for young learners. However, with Qridi, my students can now track their growth and development with ease, empowering them to take control of their learning journey.

Overall, Qridi has been an indispensable tool in my classroom, facilitating meaningful reflection and fostering a culture of self-directed learning. I am thrilled to see how it continues to revolutionize education, not just in my classroom but across European School Brussels and beyond."

The success story of European School Brussels 2 with Qridi's digital portfolio solution serves as a testament to the transformative power of technology in education. By simplifying teachers' work, bringing the curriculum to life, empowering students, and providing actionable insights, the platform has redefined the educational experience for all stakeholders involved. As we look to the future, it's clear that the possibilities are endless when innovative solutions meet the needs of modern learners.
